Playoffs Today

The Yankees stand one win away from a trip to the World Series as they battle the Guardians in Cleveland in game five of the ALCS. Carlos Rodon faces Tanner Bibee. Rodon pitched well in game one, holding Cleveland to three hits and one run in six innings with no walks and nine strikeouts. Opponents hit him harder on the road this season, with a BA allowed 57 points higher. Those extra hits also make up for his rise in OBP and slugging percentage away.

Bibee comes back on short rest after getting knocked out early in game two. He does hold batters to a lower slugging percentage at home in his brief career, although in terms of ERA and won-loss record, he is very even. Stopping the Yankees power, however, could force a game six.

Enjoy!
