Shohei Ohtani remained in first place in the Baseball Musings Batter Rankings with a walk and a hit by pitch in a 4-2 Dodgers win. Los Angeles can end the series Tuesday night as they lead 3-0. Ohtani now leads Juan Soto of the Yankees by about three and a half points as Soto drew a walk in four trips to the plate. Aaron Judge of the Yankees drops to fourth place behind the idle Vladimir Guerrero Jr. as Judge also went 0 for 3 with a walk.
Freddie Freeman of the Dodgers posted the best game score of the game, a 63. He went one for three with a home run, a walk and two RBI. He beats Alex Verdugo of the Yankees by a point. Verdugo posted the same line, but struck out once, and Freeman didn’t strike out at all.
