Beach boy John Cowsill sang national anthem. He was great!
Sounds like Fun, Fun, Fun!

Yeah, it’s all fun fun fun, until Daddy takes the T-Bird away.

Calling Cowsill a Beach Boy is a bit of a stretch. Sure, he’s touring with the current version, but he’s hardly “classic” Brian and Dennis era, which is the basis for modern pop music.

“the basis for modern pop music”
You must mean the *era* is the basis–even that’s a stretch–but certainly *not* that Brian and Dennis and the Beach Boys were *the* basis. Part of the basis, sure, and one worth noting in the top 20 of contributors to the basis, but hardly *the* basis in their own right.

Have you heard the current touring Beach Boys in concert? They are fabulous! Sure, who wouldn’t want to hear Carl & Dennis & Brian…but two of the three are no longer with us. Give John Cowsill a break! He’s a Beach Boy now & we love him!
