The best pitching duel of the day isn’t on Extra Innings. Ian Snell and Yovani Gallardo are locked in a scoreless tie in the middle of the seventh inning. Gallardo has struck out nine batters while walking one and allowing one hit. Snell allowed four hits, but all in separate innings.

Update: Gallardo does it all as he homers in the bottom of the seventh to give the Brewers a 1-0 lead. It’s his 2nd blast of the season and fourth of his career.
