Big Scores Early

The Braves jumped all over Graham Taylor, and by the time the third inning was over he was out of the game and Atlanta scored eight runs. Only four were earned, however, as Taylor’s ERA only goes to 8.18. The Braves lead 8-4 in the top of the fourth as Jorge Cantu drove in all four Marlins runs with a homer and a double.

Milwaukee drove Bronson Arroyo from the game as he failed to record an out in the second. He allowed all nine runs the Brewers scored so far, four on a Ryan Braun grand slam. Arroyo faced 12 batters, seven picked up hits and three walked.

The Cubs scored four in the top of the first against the Astros as Reed Johnson hit a bases loaded triple. They still hold that lead in the top of the second.
