The off-season acquisitions paid off the the Oakland Athletics Tuesday night as Orlando Cabrera, Jason Giambi and Matt Holliday combined to drive in eight of Oakland’s 12 runs as the A’s went on to a 12-3 victory over the Royals. With 47 RBI for the trio on the year, last night represented about 1/6 of their output for the season.
