Millar Breaks the Drought

The Blue Jays came into today’s game 1 for 12 with a sacrifice fly when they had the bases loaded during their offensive slump. With the bases loaded and none out in the fourth, Kevin Millar dumps a two-run single into left, and the hits kept coming. The Jays score five in the inning, which is more than they scored in any game during the eight game losing streak. They chase Rich Hill from the mound and are still batting in the fourth.

Update: The Jays get one more run with Brian Bass in relief, and give Roy Halladay a 7-2 lead to hold.
