Rzepczynski Done

Marc Rzepczynski makes a good major league debut, holding the Rays to one run over six innings of work. He only allowed two hits while striking out seven, but walked four. Three of those came in the fourth inning when he joined the legion of pitchers this season who walked in a run. He pitched well enough to win, but that’s the only run of the game so far as Tampa leads 1-0 at the end of seven.

Update: Scott Rolen singles in the eighth to tie the game at one. Rzepczynski won’t get a loss.
