The Giants six through eight hitters, Winn, Rowand and Renteria combined to go nine for fourteen tonight as the Giants blew out the Mets 10-1. They scored six and drove in three, with Rowand homering. Livan Hernandez, with six runs allowed tonight has given up 18 runs in three August starts.

The Giants now trail the Rockies by one game in the NL Wild Card race.
