SportingNews.com reports the Rays will receive two minor leaguers from the Angels for Scott Kazmir:
Tampa Bay reportedly will get minor league prospects in return: pitcher Alexander Torres and third baseman Matthew Sweeney.
Torres seems to be similar to Kazmir, high strikeouts with poor control. I like Sweeney better, he’s 21 with a high OBA and slugging percentage. With Longoria at third base, he future may be elsewhere, however.
