Scoring Without Girardi

Alex Rodriguez and Joe Girardi got themselves tossed from the game against Baltimore:

Rodriguez argued with plate umpire Marty Foster after he struck out looking with the bases loaded to end the fourth inning.

After Baltimore batted in the fifth, Foster tossed Rodriguez and Girardi, leading to an animated display from the manager. Girardi bolted out of the dugout and had to be restrained from going after Foster.

The score was tied at three at that point. With Joe off the bench, the Yankees went on to score ten more runs to give CC Sabathia an easy 13-3 win. Milliliter didn’t pitch his best, walking four and striking out just one, but Hideki Matsui gave him plenty of support with three hits, a three-run homer and five RBI. I wonder how the Yankees offense did in Girardi’s other ejections?
