Bronson Arroyo allows one run over seven innings as he continues his string of well pitched games. The Reds down the Astros 3-1, scoring two runs off a very good Wandy Rodriguez. Since July 28th, Arroyo is just 3-3 in ten starts, but with a 2.11 ERA. He walked none and struck out six tonight. His control has been great over this stretch, but he added strikeouts to the mix tonight. His performances should give the Red some hope for a solid pitching staff going into next season. Now they just need to find some offense.
