Ryan Dempster easily pitched his best game of the season, shutting out the Brewers for eight innings as the Cubs take home a 2-0 win. Dempster ended July with a 4.31 ERA, but has pulled it down to 3.84 with 20 earned runs in his last 60 1/3 innings.
