I may need to go to Boston due to an emergency, so this post can serve as an open thread. Feel free to comment about the game.

I hope everything is okay. If the Dodgers win tonight, they will be the first team to sweep division series in back-to-back years using six different starting pitchers.
I may have seen duller games, but it’s hard to remember one. Is there a crowd at this game? Sounds like a morgue.
After the incredible drama of the Twins-Tigers play-in game, the division series are shaping up as mostly a bust. There have been a few good games, but too many of the contests have been low-scoring, one-sided and dull. Plus we may be heading for three sweeps out of four.
Oh well, maybe things will get better. And TBS is getting good ratings. Yay.
Anyway, David, hope everything works out allright.

Well, whaddaya know? The Cards got a run. And there actually was some noise from the stands.

There was no reason for Brendan Ryan to slide into first there. That was a desperation move.
David, I hope it’s nothing serious.
Padilla’s been masterful in this game.
