It appears the Mets reached a deal with Kelvim Escobar. He missed all of 2008 and only pitched five major league innings in 2009. I hope the Mets are not paying him too much money, unless it’s in incentives.

1.25 mil for a bullpen arm… and should be a good bullpen arm since he won’t be stressing it with long innings. I think it’s a good signing, but the Mets needed a starter more. Disappointing signing for Mets fans, I’m sure.
