My daughter just called. She attends Simmons College (A on the map, below), a few blocks from Fenway.
She was taking a Japanese quiz this morning when they heard loud rock music and sirens outside. The students got up to look outside, and a flat bed truck was rolling slowly down Avenue Louis Pasteur with people in Red Sox gear and Wally the Green Monster. They were all tossing baseball to people on the street. She asked me what was going on, and I have to assume it’s because of truck day. The Red Sox show once again that they know how to keep fans involved in the team.
