RISP Battle

The top of the Texas batting order, their 1-4 hitters combined to go 9 for 18 Tuesday night and hit two home runs, scoring all five of the Rangers runs. The Angels offense spread out over the entire lineup and drew some walks, too. The Angels managed three hits with men in scoring position to the Rangers’s one, and that made the difference as LAnaheim gained on the division leaders with a 6-5 win. Despite the Rangers winning streak of late, the Angels remain just 3 1/2 games back, still very much in this race.

What, no mention of the CWS, with South Carolina winning?

Only thing better would be an all USC affair, Gamecocks vs. Trojans.
