Bat Splitter

Brad Lincoln earned his first major league win with seven shutout innings against the Cubs. He showed great control today as he walked one and struck out six. He was even in walks and strikeouts at eight in 24 innings coming into today’s contest. Today’s numbers are much more in line with his minor league career.


The Pirates starters are now 6-2 in twelve starts against the Cubs
with a tiny 2.68 ERA. The team goes to 9-3 overall against Chicago, outscoring them 46-31 with the 2-0 victory today.
