Enright All Right

Barry Enright wins his first major league start as he holds the St. Louis Cardinals to one run over five innings of work. He was a bit wild as he walked four while striking out five. The Diamondbacks bullpen bent but didn’t break for a change as they allowed five hits and two walks over four innings of work, but only one run as the Cardinals lost 4-2 to fall into second place in the NL Central. Aaron Heilman once again made it interesting in the ninth, giving up two singles, but that was it as he retired the Cardinals for his third save in seven chances.
