Rookie Cs

Tyler Colvin and Starlin Castro did a nice job at the top of the Cubs order as Chicago downs St. Louis 6-5. Colvin led off the game with a home run and later walked and scored. Castro missed the cycle by a triple, scoring twice and driving in two. They accounted for five of the Cubs six runs. Castro is now hitting .308 on the season with a .358 OBP and nice pop. I wouldn’t mind seeing them flipped in the batting order, as Castro does a better job getting on and Colvin’s strength is power. If these are going to be the future of the top of the order for the Cubs, however, the future looks bright.
