The heart of the Oakland Athletics order was not producing many home runs this season. They came into today with their 3-4-5 hitters owning just 25 home runs, tied with the Orioles for fewest by that group of hitters. Oakland smashed three this afternoon, however. Kurt Suzuki knocked out one among his three hits, and Jack Cust delivered two as the A’s downed the White Sox 10-2. Cust now has six home runs in July after hitting just two in May and June.
