Curtis Granderson followed a Jorge Posada leadoff single in the eighth with a home run, putting the Yankees of top of the Indians 3-2. The bullpen held on for the one-run win. Granderson is hitting a bit better lately, with hits in his last six games, going 9 for 21 in that stretch. He hit two home runs yesterday as well. He’s going to need to stay that hot for awhile, however, to get his statistics to look decent for the season.
