Early Returns

The Edwin Jackson for Dan Hudson trade looks pretty good this afternoon. Hudson made his debut for the Diamondbacks against the Mets and pitched eight innings. He allowed just three hits and one run, while the offense hit four homers as Arizona wins 14-1. Hudson threw 110 pitches, walking one and striking out four as the Mets went three for 23 putting the ball in play. That gives Arizona 119 home runs on the season, third in the National League. They can score runs, and today they got the pitching to go with it.
