Fausto Carmona pitched a good game, allowing two runs, one earned, over seven innings. Once again, his control was good as he walked one and struck out five. He’s walked one batter or less in nine of his 21 starts this season, reducing his walks per nine by over 1.5 per nine compared to last season.
