Jake Westbrook pitched very well in his Cardinals debut. He walked one and struck out seven in six innings of work, allowing two runs and leaving with a 3-2 lead. That was extended to 4-2 before the Cardinals bullpen broke down. Four relievers allowed a total of seven runs over two innings as the Astros come back for a 9-4 victory. The Astros have now won six in a row, scoring 39 runs. They’re turning things around after a horrible offensive start to the season.
