Power Pierre

Juan Pierre adds a home run to his earlier double as the White Sox surge to a 7-1 lead over the Tigers in the fifth inning. The home run is the first of the season for Juan Pierre and his first since 2008. He’s only hit two over the last four seasons. Due to his high batting average, he doesn’t have the lowest slugging percentage in the majors since 2007, but his isolated power is very low. He does have the fewest home runs among players with at least 1500 PA in that time frame. Cesar Izturis in next with four.
