White Sox Win

Mark Buehrle faced 29 batters and 27 of them put the ball in play. The Tigers managed just seven singles off Mark in his 7 2/3 innings of work as the White Sox win 12-2. With Scott Linebrink finishing the game, only eight of their 32 balls in play got through for hits, a .250 BABIP. The Tigers scored just 43 runs in their last 14 games, 3.1 runs per game. They fall to eight games back in the division, with another game tonight.

Meanwhile, the White Sox pitching staff allowed just 21 runs in their last eight games, 2.6 per game.
