The Mets-Braves game came down to ex-Braves player Jeff Francoeur facing ex-Mets pitcher Billy Wagner. With the score tied at two in the top of the ninth, Francoeur homered to put the Mets ahead 3-2. Jeff has not played well against his former team. In 22 previous games he hit .237 (with a .237 OBP) and just one home run. His shot tonight kept the Mets in the playoff race as they win 3-2.
Even more amazing: Francouer actually drew a walk and scored earlier in the game!
