Two for the Show

The Orioles get out to a nine-run lead on the Angels, then hold on for a 9-7 win. Brian Matusz made a good start for Baltimore, lasting six innings, allowing one run and no walks. He left having thrown 93 pitches and rain delaying the game. The Orioles pen wasn’t that good, allowing ten hits and six runs in just three innings. Buck Showalter goes 2-0 as the Orioles manager, but he got a good taste of the weaknesses of the team tonight.
