Kelly Shoppach hit two home runs, including a grand slam that put the Rays ahead to stay as Tampa Bay defeated the Orioles 7-3. It was the fifth two-homer game of Shoppach’s career and the five RBI matched a career high as well. He came into the game with 17 hits and 17 walks, the hits very low and the walks very high. I guess teams were pitching around him for a reason. 🙂
