The Phillies three Rs, Rollins, Raul and Ruiz each tripled against the Giants tonight as the Phillies take a two-game lead in the Wild Card race with an 8-2 win. Jimmy Rollins picked up three hits, missing the cycle by a double. Raul Ibanez drove in and scored a run, while Carlos Ruiz hit his first triple of the season.

This is the second time this season a team tripled three times in a game. It happened 10 times in 2009. The last time a team hit four triples in a game was May 6, 1998 when the Yankees accomplished the feat.
