The Evil Player program selected Kevin Mench as Sunday’s evil player. Kevin showed promise early in his career, posting a .539 slugging percentage in 2004. He suffered large drops in that statistic the next two years, and was out of the majors all of 2009. The Nationals recalled him recently to take Nyjer Morgan‘s spot, but he’s gone an evil 1 for 11 with three strikeouts since returning.
