Braves Journal notes that Dan Uggla compares well to Jeff Kent. Both took a while to catch on as every day players, and neither fit the mold of the typical second baseman. Both hit very well once they did start playing every day, and Jeff Kent hit extremely well when most players suffered downturns in their careers. Maybe we’ll be talking about Dan Uggla for the Hall of Fame in ten years.
