The New York Post got the scoop:
The Andy Pettitte wait is over and so is his career.
The Post has confirmed that the Yankees veteran lefty has decided to retire. Pettitte, 38, took most of the offseason to make his decision, which he is expected to announce on Friday.
I always enjoyed watching Pettitte, and it’s too bad he has a PED stain on his record. I’ll miss the stare.
I’ll miss the wins. And the stare.
I’ll miss the stare.
You’ll get the chance to see another version of the Pettitte stare when he testifies in the Clemens trial. Deer in headlights.
I think the trial against Rocket has alot more to do with him retiring than “not feeling it.”
