Loney Not Enough

James Loney broke out of his slump with a four for four night. All his hits were singles, however, and although they pulled his batting average above the Mendoza line, the Dodgers lost the game to the Marlins 4-1 4-2. They out-hit the Marlins eight to six, but a Gaby Sanchez home run, and bunching their walks and hits led to a Marlins victory.

Score was 4-2. Marlins are red hot at the moment. Sevens wins and only one loss on current road stand. And now in sole possession of first place in NL East after Phils lost in Arizona.
