Ian Kennedy continued the streak that started with the birth of his child against the Dodgers Sunday afternoon. He allowed one run in six innings of work, walking one and striking out eight as the Diamondbacks took home a 4-1 victory. In his five starts since the new arrival, Kennedy owns a 1.47 ERA, striking out 37 batters in 36 2/3 innings , walking just eight. With the high K rate, opponents managed his 23 hits against him. Maybe Ian should plan on a big family. 🙂
