Bullpen Shutout

The Giants bullpen nearly threw a complete-game shutout Wednesday night. It took them eight innings of holding off the Padres to give the Giants a chance to comeback and win in the 14th inning on Nate Schierholtz‘s second home run of the game, the final score 6-5. In their time in the game, Giants relievers allowed just two hits and two walks while striking out 13. The pen as a whole now owns 240 K in 260 2/3 innings this season with just 104 walks.
