Giants Put Beltran, Romo on DL; Lose Sanchez
Jonathan Sanchez needed to leave tonight’s game early:
The injury plagued San Francisco Giants received another blow when pitcher Jonathan Sanchez was hurt fielding a bunt in the third inning against Atlanta.
It’s impressive that Carlos Beltran lasted just long enough to get traded.

I see they called up Dan Runzler. With their injury woes, I hope they don’t make him bat again.
The silver lining for the Giants is that Arizona is really just a .500 team, barely above water on OPS diff. Although San Fran is eminently beatable, so are the D-Backs.
The teams have six games left and the Giants have a very soft schedule after Atlanta. In fact, once the Braves series finishes, the D-Backs are the only team above .500 that San Fran plays for the rest of the year. It ain’t over until…
