The Angels launched four home runs against C.J. Wilson Saturday night as LAnaheim reduced the Rangers lead to two games with an 8-4 win. Mike Trout and Bobby Wilson hit back-to-back shots in the fourth. Home runs allowed have been a strength for Wilson since he moved back to the rotation last season. Coming into last night’s game, he had allowed just 20 in 385 innings over two seasons. The Angels are not exactly a home run power house, ranking 9th in the AL with 119 long balls.
The teams play the ESPN game tonight, with Jered Weaver starting on short rest.
