Tyler Flowers hit the second home run of his career, a grand slam as the White Sox defeat the Mariners 9-3. The win moves the White Sox into second place, 1/2 game ahead of the Indians, six games behind the Tigers.

In his short major league career (36 games in three seasons) Flowers does a great job getting on base but hits for little power and drives in few runs. The four RBI today takes his career total to seven.
