Matt Holliday homers the opposite way, just inside the foul pole in right for a1-0 Cardinals lead in the bottom of the second. That’s his first extra base hit of this post season.

Update: Yadier Molina follows Matt Holliday down the rightfield line, and winds up with a double. He’s at second with one out.

Update: Ryan Theriot grounds a ball to the left of Rickie Weeks, and Weeks takes his eye off the ball and boots it. That puts runners on first and third with one out.

I wonder if Ron Roenicke will read Weeks Theriot act. 🙂

Update: Kyle Lohse goes down swinging to end the inning. The Cardinals had a chance to do a lot more damage, but take a 1-0 lead into the third.
