The Red Sox and Cubs are trying to determine compensation for Theo Epstein, and they are not close:
“Day 1 of the COMPENSATION negotiation between Sox & Cubs did NOT go well today,” Dennis wrote on Twitter. “Boston wants prospects. Chicago wants to pay just cash.”
Maybe Theo should be conducting the negotiations with himself. 🙂
If he did, wouldn’t he get rooked and end up overpaying himself?
