Mike Trout went 0 for 4 with a strikeout in his 2012 debut, but a great pitching performance by Dan Haren gave the Angels a 2-1 win over Cleveland. Haren lasted eight innings, walking two and striking out seven as he held Cleveland to four hits. Scott Downs came on for the save. Torii Hunter hit a solo home run in the fourth that proved to be the winning run.
