The double was one of 11 hits for the Orioles as they blew out the Yankees 7-1 for Buck Showalter’s 1000th win as a manager. The Orioles got to Phil Hughes for four runs in 5 2/3 innings, leaving Phil with a 7.48 ERA. The good news is that Phil walked one, struck out six and threw 65% of his pitches for strikes. The bad news is that two of those strikes left the park, as he’s allowed seven homers on the season.
