The Tampa Bay Rays will be happy to see Jonny Gomes leave Tropicana Field as he picks up two more hits today, doubling and driving in two as the Athletics win 9-5. In the three game series the ex-Ray went 5 for 9 with two doubles, a home run, two walks and three RBI. He also made a fine catch on Saturday. For his career, he doesn’t have a good batting average at the Trop, but he did hit for power.
