Bryce Harper doubles leading off the top of the fourth inning as Washington plays Pittsburgh. Harper now owns six doubles in nine games. If he keeps up that pace, he’ll shatter Earl Webb’s single season doubles record. I would love to see that. The NL record is 64 held by Joe Medwick.
Washington leads Pittsburgh 1-0 in the top of the fourth.
Update: Harper came around to score to give the Nationals a 2-0 lead, but Andrew McCutchen and Garrett Jones homered in the bottom of the fourth to tie the score.
Somehow I doubt he’ll keep up that pace 🙂
