Getting Blanked presents a great graph of height by team. I find it interesting that the Yankees and Rangers seem to go for really tall pitchers, while Boston concentrates height in position players.

I’m surprised more sabermetric research hasn’t been done on player’s height and weight. I did a study a few years ago that showed that tall players (6’3″+) hit FAR more home runs per plate appearance than short players (5’10” or less) – by a factor of 3:1. I found that fascinating.
