Delmon Young singles with two out and two on in the bottom of the first to give the Tigers a 1-0 lead. From the Detroit radio call, it sounds like Eric Chavez took his time on an Omar Infante grounder that allowed the Detroit second baseman to reach. Eric is supposed to be a better fielding third baseman than A-Rod, but I haven’t really seen that in the post-season.
I am not an Arod fan,but at this point not playing hin seems vindictive.
Chavez was worth a shot for a couple of games but he has not hit either. He also made an error the other night.

I agree. It’s been a long time since Chavez was one of the better third baseman in the league. I’m still putting a little weight into the ARod giving a girl a baseball for her phone number story from Game 1…
Cabrerea just stuck a fork in the Yankees, pronounced them done. Congrats to the Tigers.
