The most interesting part was not that Vijay Singh or Bob Charles used DAS, but this quote from Colin Montgomerie:
“Colin Montgomerie, a rival of Singh during their heydays, called the whole case ”odd” and said the European Tour doctor ”came to us (and said) deer antler, whatever it is, don’t take that this afternoon lads.””
This afternoon? Why not just tell them “don’t take that, lads,” if it’s a banned substance? It sounds like the PGA tour was being warned of an upcoming drug test. Given the cycling problems, a tennis player getting caught with HGH, the rot in sports is deep and wide.
