It looked like Ubaldo Jimenez regained his control in spring training, but that dissipated quickly. He walked two in his first start, lasting six innings. He walked three in his second start, just 4 1/3 innings. He walked five Tuesday night against the Red Sox in just 1 2/3 innings. That led to seven runs and a 7-2 Boston win. The work the Indians staff did with him this spring didn’t stick.
